Who is Ethereal Sound?
The phrase: "The new sound of ecommerce is to give the customer an experience, not just a sale", is what I'd like people to experience as your shopping & a form of hospitality.
Ethereal Sound is an online store offering handcrafted ethereal drums and other similar instruments — tuned to the Key of C or D and designed for wellness, worship, stillness, and praise. Our drums are "play-by-number": no lessons, no sheet music, and no musical experience required. Every order includes a complimentary Worship & Wellness Songbook, and we'll continue sending new seasonal editions. Our customers come from all walks of life — people of faith, beginners, teachers, artists, musicians, parents, worship leaders, students, empty-nesters, retirees, craftsmen, and gift-givers looking for a peaceful, accessible way to make music. Do I need any musical experience to play?
None at all. Every Ethereal drum is tuned to the Key of C or D with numbered notes, and tones range from 6 to 15 depending on the size you choose. If you can count to 7, you can play — no lessons, no sheet music, no wrong notes.
What's included when I order?
Every drum arrives gift-ready, though the kit varies by drum. Our most complete kit — the Ethereal 12" Steel Tongue Drum (Key of D) — comes with 2 sets of mallets and a holder, finger cots, a cleaning cloth, note stickers, a cushioned base, and a padded travel case, plus a printed songbook and manual mailed to you. And with every drum, we email you our complimentary Worship & Wellness Songbook so you can start playing right away.
How much are the drums?
Our Ethereal instruments range from about $25.50 for the mini tongue drum up to over $200 for our 22" handpans, depending on size and type.
How much is shipping?
We offer free U.S. shipping, with delivery in about 2–3 weeks (roughly 14–21 business days) and full tracking included. We also ship worldwide — international shipping is calculated at checkout. International buyers, if you need any help, just reach out.

Every drum comes with a free Worship & Wellness Songbook, emailed to you and available worldwide. It uses our play-by-number system, so you can play worship songs from day one.
What's your return & refund policy?
We stand behind every Ethereal drum and want you to be delighted.
We accept returns or refunds for: quality issues reported within 5 days of delivery, the wrong item received, or lost packages with no tracking updates for 45+ days.
To request a refund or replacement, email hello@etherealsound.store with your order number and a photo or short video of the issue. We'll review it and arrange a reshipment or refund.
Lost or stalled packages: if your tracking shows no movement for an extended time, or your package appears lost in transit, reach out and we'll investigate and make it right.
Change-of-mind returns: because each drum ships directly from our maker, change-of-mind returns are limited and handled case by case (approval required). If you're simply not in love with your drum, email us and we'll do our best to help. Where approved, the item must be unused and in original condition, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Not covered: we're unable to accept returns for an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, refused deliveries, or change of mind (unless approved in advance, with return shipping paid by the customer).
